There are some nice spots to visit on the peninsula of Akrotiri like the monasteries, riding school, bowling centre, water park, shooting centre and many events during the summer.

For those who have not rented a car, the bus stops 2 minutes from Nanakis Beach. The distance to Hania and it's beautiful old town is only 13 km.
